Government orders that Crousillat's medical records be reviewed

After a private meeting with President Alan Garcia, Justice Minister Aurelio Pastor announced that the medical records which substantiated the pardon granted to former television businessman Jose Enrique Crousillat be reviewed. Pastor said that this new check will be carried out by investigators recommended by the Ministry of Health, and that based on their findings a decision will be rendered as to whether the pardon will be annulled, or not, for Crousillat, who was jailed for having sold America Television's editorial line during the government of Alberto Fujimori.
