The Squeaky Wheel ...
YPF said it should have imported fuel to address demand and its workers ask for salary increases

Bad mood on the streets. That's the expression which has captured the Argentine press. The verbal fight between oil producers and service station workers who are calling for a 30% salary increase comes all as the result of a lack of fuel. The situation is delicate. Only yesterday, YPF said it should have imported 50 millin liters of nafta super to address growing domestic demand. In recent days, with the possibility of running out of supplies, nafta prices increased 14%. The union said that the lack of fuel at service stations is a result of a problem with YPF but estimated that it was a "circumstantial case" since it's a matter of "a shortage of supplies which happens rarely."
