President Bachelet will introduce her successor at the Rio Summit gathering's second session

At the second session to be held between the heads of state participating in the Rio Summit, President Michelle Bachelet will introduce the president-elect of Chile, Sebastian Pinera, to the rest of the region's leaders. The presentation, to be made during a brief introductory address, will occur three weeks before the changing of leadership to take place March 11. At that occasion, Bachelet's Uruguayan counterpart, Tabare Vazquez, as well as her Costa Rican counterpart, Oscar Arias, will also introduce their successors, Jose Mujica and Laura Chinchilla.
