Gamesa launches a $30 million innovation center in Nuevo Leon to produce nutritious foods

Gamesa Quaker, a Pepsico subsidiary, this year will begin to develop a center for technological innovation in baked goods, in Nuevo Leon, with a $30 million investment, enabling it to develop cookies, bars, candy, and even collaborate on products in the food and beverage divisions of the firm, to become the company with the most nutritious products portfolio in the world in at most four years. Currently, Gamesa Quaker sells more than $1 billion annually in Mexico, operates nine plants, with 104 distribution centers, and provides 14,000 jobs in the country.
