América TeVe and CaribeVision Merge
Miami station América TeVe, channel 41 and CaribeVision, have joined forces

América TeVe has merged into a joint venture agreement with CaribeVision Network. América TeVe Network, the independent Spanish-language channel in Miami, will operate, distribute, and sell advertising on CV Network's stations as part of the deal. The stations include WFUN-Channel 48 in Miami, CV 34 in New York, and CV 24 in Puerto Rico. To date, América TeVe has proven to be one of the most successful independent TV station in one of the largest mainstream and Hispanic Market in the country, the Miami Market. The América TeVe management is known for their very conservative approach to business and strategic execution in a very competitive television market like Miami.
