Colombia Submits Complaint to OAS on Venezuelan Attack
The government complained to the Organization of American States (OAS) about Venezuela's bombing of two border foot bridges

Colombia's ambassador before the OAS, Luis Alfonso Hoyos Aristizabal, submitted a detailed report to OAS general secretary Jose Miguel Insulza expressing his government's "concern" with the events which took place on the border the two nation's share. This time the communique did ask the organism to take action to prevent these kinds of attacks. President Alvaro Uribe called these actions taken today "very serious" and stressed that, even so, there wouldn't be a call for war from Colombia.
