Iridium: the Return
After 10 years, the satellite communications services firm returns to the country

Iridium, a firm dedicated to providing satellite communications, returns to Mexico. After nearly a decade of absence from the country, the company obtained, for the second time, a permit from the Secretary of Communications and Transportation (SCT) to provide mobile solutions on Mexican soil. The return to Mexico will come by way of an alliance with local firms Spacenet, Astrum Comunicaciones, Inmosat and Tecnor. Iridium will offer telephone, information services, asset tracking, maritime communications, among other applications.
