Spain was the country that invested most in Argentina in 2008

Spain led the rankings of the main countries that invested in Argentina in 2008, according to a report by the Central Bank. The figure reaches almost $23 billion. The news was announced by Beatriz Nofal, chairwoman of the National Investment Development Agency, during the launch of the Castilian and Leonesa Association of Entrepreneurs in Argentina, headed by Spanish businessman Pedro Alonso. The aim of this partnership is to create a meeting forum between businessmen of Castile and Leon and those of Argentina in order to promote business, investment, technology transfer and commercial trade.
