Evidence of Guerrilla Presence
The Ecuadoran government has in its hands a report that proves the presence of FARC guerrilla camps within its national borders

The Colombian government handed over to Ecuador information proving the presence of about 12 camps and at least 1,800 members of the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC) in the country, according to chancellor Fander Falconí. This report was delivered during Tuesday’s meeting between the defense ministers of Colombia and Ecuador, Gabriel Silva and Javier Ponce Cotacachi, as part of a process to restore diplomatic relations between both nations. The chancellor stated that this information should be checked out and evaluated by the Ecuadoran authorities.
