Chinese Dragon in Coahuila
The principal copper tube producer, Golden Dragon, will open a $100 million plant, the biggest investment by a Chinese firm
The world's principal producer of copper tubes, Golden Dragon, opened a new factory in Monclova, Coahuila, in northern Mexico. The factory, of 200,000 square meters, required a $100 million investment and will initially employ 300 persons. The company's long term goal is to offer 900 jobs. According to ProMexico, a Mexican government agency, the Golden Dragon investment is the largest to be made in Mexico by a Chinese firm.
