Canada and Ecuador Strengthen Commercial Ties
Canada's international trade minister met today with the vice-president of Ecuador to reaffirm trade relations

Canada's International Trade Minister Stockwell Day met today with Ecuador's Vice-President Lenin Moreno to review trade and mining issues. According to a report by Ecuador's presidency, Day explained that the visit's objective is to "promote Canada as a provider of very high quality technology, products and services, as well as highlighting Canada's progress in the region with respect to its excellent mining and oil exploitation practices." The meetin was attended by the head of Canada's Cabinet, that country's ambassador in Ecuador and the chairman of the Canadian Commercial Corporation.
