Los reyes del fútbol
Los trapos sucios en Universitario de Deportes y Alianza Lima. ¿Esto también puede ser cambiado por una ley que convierta a los clubes de fútbol en sociedades anónimas?

El desaparecido educador escribió esta memorable nota poco después de que renunciara a la dirigencia de Alianza Lima. Publicada inicialmente en el portal de Ovación, es la primera vez que se reproduce en un medio impreso.
Tras una década de andar sumergido en el mundo del fútbol peruano, he ido construyendo una suerte de clasificación de la dirigencia tal y como hizo, hace doscientos años, el científico Lineo con el reino animal.
Porque no existe una sola especie, sino muchas. El dirigente honesto que pone los intereses de la institución por encima de los suyos es una especie en vías de extinción, quedan muy pocos y la mayor parte de ellos han sido desplazados por las razas más hambrientas y depredadoras.
Está, por ejemplo, el dirigente criollo, un vivazo que habla con lisuras, cuenta chistes sobre homosexuales, huele a alcohol, te da palmaditas en la espalda. Y espera que te retires para ponerte un apodo y lograr que todos sus semejantes se rían de su chispa criolla. Por supuesto que esta especie no pone un sol para resolver problemas. Ni trabaja, solo pasta y rumia su cinismo y anda buscando, sediento, que alguien “se ponga” un trago.
Luego tenemos al dirigente que acude a este mundo para exhibir sus signos exteriores de riqueza. Ese que piensa que la plutocracia es la forma auténtica de gobierno. Cambia de carro cada año, ofrece premios a los jugadores, muestra siempre que puede que su cuenta bancaria es millonaria y que la tuya no. Quiere el cargo para ocupar el puesto que cree que le corresponde en este concurso de billetes. A veces, en los peores momentos, surge por mutación una especie híbrida que le agrega a la anterior una pretensión racista.
Y luego está el dirigente que no pudo triunfar en su vida personal y que conserva esa admiración por el futbolista que viene de las proyecciones de la infancia. Como el futbolista sigue siendo su ídolo, quiere chuparle la sangre del reconocimiento con solo permanecer a su lado. Quiere ser el amigo del futbolista, bajar al camarín, llevarlos a comer, a tomar, lo que sea que gane su confianza. Porque su realización es estar cerca de ellos, de su fama, de su éxito. Les regala artefactos, los protege de las sanciones, habla mal con ellos de los otros dirigentes. Vive feliz cuando el jugador símbolo simplemente lo tutea, lo llama con diminutivos.
Y claro, está también el dirigente ladrón, sin escrúpulos, que quiere simplemente ganar dinero con la venta y compra de jugadores. Y que le abre la puerta del club a toda clase de pequeños roedores: empresarios chicha, gerentes bamba, empleados trafa. Es el rey de la coima y va corrompiendo todo lo que toca. Y no deja huellas, arrastra consigo un buen equipo de contadores.
Y está también el cacique, el dueño de su hacienda, que incluye la propiedad sobre hinchas y jugadores. Mira a los futbolistas como ganado que le sirve mientras rinden en la cancha para acrecentar su prestigio. Pero si se enferman o se quiebran, los despacha como a caballos cojos. No cree en democracias y los miembros de su junta directiva son como empleados de su empresa. También los cambia si molestan y si puede los insulta y los rebaja.
Y bueno, hay otras especies menores que no vale la pena describir. Como el dirigente militar, con pistola, o el dirigente perverso al que atrae este universo masculino. El asunto que complica la vida en este parque humano es, como estudió Mendel, la mezcla de los genes. Porque puede surgir el dirigente que combine su ADN con el de otro y tengamos al dirigente ratero y racista, o al otro apañador y criollazo, o cualquier otra mezcla que aumente sus posibilidades de supervivencia. Hasta que aparece, lamentablemente, una suerte de Godzilla que reúne todos los atributos juntos y lleva al club a la peor deshonra.

Qué tal rosario de malhechores conducen el fútbol peruano! Con razón existen las barras bravas, brazo callejero protegido e inspirado por dirigentes de peor calaña. Creo que hinchas, jugadores, empresarios y demás se convierten en cómplices si no denuncian esta lacra que impera hace tanto tiempo, aunque parece ser que la ley está creada para preservar esta situación, expulsando cualquier soplo de honestidad y capacidad. Si la propuesta de convertirlas en empresas no es la solución, ¿entonces qué?? ¿quién puede salvar a estos clubes?? Espero que la investigación se enfoque ahora a la Federación Peruana de Fútbol, cuya historia de peleas y dirigencias cuestionadas es tan intrincada ...quizás eso sí se puede arreglar con intervención del Estado, pero con ideas atinadas y no con falsos salvavidas como los proyectos q se discuten en el Congreso.

Quiero felicitar a Ricardo Uceda por el extraordinario reportaje que desnuda la realidad siempre maquillada de lo que sucedió en la "U" y que lamentablemente con otras variantes refinadas propias de dictaduras disfrazadas -a este régimen en campaña lo bauticé como "La Nueva Dictadura"- que llegan al extremo de anular una reforma de estatutos promovida y propuesta por esta Junta Directiva para volver al anterior Estatuto en virtud que es lo que más les conviene. El Gordo tuvo el mérito -si se le puede llamar así- de ser más astuto que los actuales y haber burlado los mecanismos legales para impedir las cosas que sucedieron en la "U", los actuales no lo fueron tanto y están denunciados penalmente por desvío de fondos y otros ilícitos por la SUNAT. Pero ahora esta Junta Directiva promueve una ley cuyo fondo es bueno, vale decir ayudar a los clubes que tienen cuantiosas deudas con la SUNAT -sólo "U" y Alianza Lima- para que las paguen si pueden en cronogramas de 15 o 20 años, pero ¿Qué va a pasar con los que originaron estas deudas? ¿Impunidad? ¿Borrón y cuenta nueva? ¿A qué bolsillos fue a parar ese dinero?
