Total Texto, que fue creada para evitar los fraudes bancarios y mantener alerta a los clientes, ahora se diversifica con otros servicios móviles

Cuando los integrantes de la empresa de sms bancario Total Texto quisieron vender su idea al primer cliente, parece que la fortuna les acompañó. Se lo dieron a probar a un alto ejecutivo financiero que tenía un comportamiento normal de sus cuentas, sólo que una tarde observó cómo le habían extraído una fuerte cantidad de dinero en tres retiros. A los pocos minutos de la primera sustracción, le llegó un mensaje a su celular, notificando la irregularidad. Se aprestó a remediarlo y agradeció ser un abonado de los jóvenes que le estaban ofreciendo tales servicios. Y por supuesto dio el sí al proyecto.
De esa manera el equipo integrado por: Jordán Dávila, Darwin Morales, Jorge Balcot y Armando Conde ganaron la cuenta del Banco Venezolano de Crédito. Luego se sumarían: Banco Provincial, Banesco, Exterior y 100% Banco. Ya llevan cinco años laborando con rentabilidad.
Posteriormente serían beneficiados, indirectamente, con una ley bancaria (en 2009) que exige a las entidades mantener informados a sus usuarios, en tiempo real, de cualquier anomalía en las cuentas. Así, Total Texto pudo entrar a competir en un mercado necesitado de evitar los fraudes, con precios accesibles.
Ellos han desarrollado su plataforma tecnológica y no dependen de terceros. La inversión estimada por el envío de un sms bancario es de 0,15 BsF. Igualmente si un cliente requiere otras soluciones ampliadas, que incluya más servicios de software, la cifra ronda 40 mil dólares y puede llegar a 200 mil dólares, que a juicio de Armando Conde (uno de los socios) “todavía es económico”. Con la implantación de estos sistemas el fraude ha disminuido en un 70% Además, trabajan en un país donde la penetración de teléfonos celulares es muy alta y empieza a venderse con auge el blackberry.
Entre sus productos novedosos se encuentran: Krypto y Total-Pass. Se trata de “aplicativos móviles para realizar operaciones bancarias a través del celular y que cuentan con la más alta tecnología en encriptación de datos”, destacó Jordán Dávila, director de mercadeo. Tampoco hay temor de que con el robo de un móvil se proceda a un acto ilícito, porque la información del sms no compromete la seguridad del usuario, no coloca claves, ni números de un documento de identidad.
Los volúmenes mayores de mensajes son relativos a notificaciones de saldo, por retiros en un cajero electrónico o pago en un comercio a través de un punto de venta. También los usan para la gestión de cobranzas (a pedido del banco) con ciertas normas; todo esto lo programa el sistema.
La empresa Total Texto ya registra ganancias, tiene más de doce empleados directos y 20 indirectos. Sus socios, en particular Conde y Dávila, resumen los atributos de un emprendedor: creativo, paciente, diplomático, debe tener visión de negocio y saber con quién tiene que hablar. Igualmente hay que administrarse bien y manejar escenarios de riesgo como el venezolano, que a la larga lo fortalece.
