PODER | abc* Business Awards 2009

PODER magazine created the PODER Awards to celebrate excellence and leadership in the Americas by recognizing those men and women who have demonstrated remarkable strategy, vision and execution in their respective businesses and organizations; those who are enhancing and producing systemic change in the region. This year PODER magazine has partnered with The Americas Business Council Foundation to identify and award best practices in the region in social entrepreneurship, sustainability and peace.

The Americas Business Council Foundation (abc*) is an independent not-for-profit organization, in its inaugural year, formed to bring U.S. Hispanic and Latin American leaders together to exchange ideas that impact “people, planet and philanthropy.”

John King

John King is the anchor of State of the Union with John King, CNN’s Sunday news program that covers political analysis, national and world affairs, cultural segments, media analysis and commentary. Mr. King is also CNN’s chief national correspondent. John King joined CNN in May 1997 and was appointed chief national correspondent in April 2005. He served as CNN’s senior White House correspondent from 1999 to 2005.
