CNN to Dobbs: $8 Million at the Door
Sources are reporting that CNN paid Lou Dobbs $8 million to resign before his contract was scheduled to end

The New York Post is reporting that CNN paid Lou Dobbs $8 million to resign before his contract was scheduled to end in a year and a half.
CNN president Jonathan Klein and Dobbs had been at odds with the direction of Dobbs show for some time and CNN's reputation as a non partisan network was taking some severe hits because of Dobbs’ thoughts on illegal immigration.
To date, Latino groups had been outraged and have threatened to boycott CNN due to Dobbs’ rants for quite some time.
Although Dobbs is standing by his statement that his departure from CNN was an “amicable parting on the best of terms,” sources say CNN officials put together the $8 million severance package quickly.
Dobbs will be appearing on Fox News Monday evening, to speak with Bill O’Reilly, who in the past has called the former CNN host a “stand-up guy.”
